A thought.
I saw a Dove commercial saying that the company had helped over eight million young girls improve their self esteem. And don’t get me wrong, I think that’s absolutely wonderful and all, but it got me thinking. How come the majority of people don’t take into consideration that guys might have extremely low self esteems? Because guys are supposed to be the strong ones. The ones that can take anything that’s thrown their way. Sadly, that’s all a myth. Because guys can have low self esteems. Dangerously low. I’m not trying to gain pity for guys, I’m just pointing out the fact that not just girls can have bad self esteems. We’re not so different after all, now are we?
